Have you been Naughty? – 1 More Day Left…

Even if you’ve been naughty, I’m sure your Santa will still find a reason to give you something nice.  This is another play on the carton baskets that I’ve created here and here.  I’ve combined this playful sentiment with the images of the Every Little Bit stamp set.

I used a few drops of the Cherry Cobbler ink refill and mixed it with some Platinum Shimmer Paint.  To apply the ink, I used a q-tip to apply the  mixture to the words “Naughty” and “Nice” after colouring the other words on the stamp with an Early Espresso Marker.  This will add a slight red tinge to the silver words.

Snowflake Wine Tag Day 5

The embossed Dazzling Diamonds snowflakes add such a sparkle feel to the projects.  The strip makes 8 snowflakes at once so I thought I’d use it on another project from yesterday’s left overs.  I used the marker to for the “to” and “from” words.  I also sponged the edges of all the circles.  Although after I put in on the bottle, I realized that it was a bit long so I would shorten the ribbon a little with the next one that I make.

Snow Flakes Basket Day 6

This project is in Top 3 for the Stampin’ Up Only 34 Challenge!

Here is another basket to fill goodies for a warm gift for friends and family.  The snowflakes were first cut and then embossed with a mixture of Dazzling Diamonds and Clear Embossing Powder.  It was a little tricky to lower the front of the basket so that the sentiment would be fully visible.  I only glued down the centre of the snow flakes and gently lifted the edges to give it some dimension.  Hint: to secure the shape of the ribbon handle, add a piece of cardstock beneath it.

Matchbox Drawers

It’s that time of the year to say Thank you’s to the dedicated teachers who have contributed so much to my children’s life at school.  We made these matchbox drawers with a little “thanks so much” tag attached to it.  It was a bit of a challenge for them to do the folds with the drawers but I only helped a little bit and they did most of it themselves.  I was quite impressed with their layout and combination of the butterflies.  I also made one on my own with the Paisley Petals DSP and Four Frames SS.  I love the how the patterns of each drawer came together.  It was perfect to keep my extra butterflies and small punched out shapes so that I don’t have to dig through my pile of scraps for those extra tiny parts.

Cute, Fun & So Sweet!

Look at this altered project!  Isn’t it sweet and cute?!  My sister made it as a valentine’s gift for her hun.  I just had to show you.  She was quite impressed with her work so now, she’s joined me in being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator!  Yeah!!!

My camera didn’t work hard enough to show the shimmer on the large vanilla hearts in the corner and you need to see one of the close up pictures to see that there are other small white hearts scattered around the border.  She punched out xoxo’s with the Itty Bitty punches and just tossed them at the bottom. Cute, fun and so sweet!

SR#21: a Goddess Pick

***I made another Goddess Pick!***
I had a sudden urge to check the challenges and picked the Stampin’ Royalty Challenge almost instantly. I just can’t resist Rich Razzleberry! Browsing through my stamp sets, I noticed the “From the Kitchen of” set was mounted but that was as far as I got with it. I meant to use it to create my recipe box but as you know by now, I haven’t started it yet. I fought my nasty cough while making this recipe card because I just had to have my crafting fix. You can hang it from your cabinet knob or on the fridge. Yes, I like practical. I actually have another inspiration but my cough medicine is kicking in so I should get to bed before I pass out on the table.

Wedding Card

Made this card for a friend’s wedding.  Of course my table was a big mess of supplies and scraps after but I quite liked it.

Memory Box

For a year end gift for my daughter’s teacher, I gave each student in the class a top note to write a thank you message to the teacher.  Then I collected all the notes and put them in a memory box that I made.  It was quite a process to collect all the notes but for the sentimental value to the teacher, it was all worth it.  Just my way of saying “thanks for being a wonderful teacher to my daughter”.  Check it out!

Business Card Holders

Business Card Holder We had a craft table at the Champlain Country Fair and needed something to hold our business cards so Ta Daa…I made these using some DSP, window sheets, staz on, etc…  If you think that looks cute, it’s like 10 times cuter when you see it in person.  =)
