5 minute Thank You card

It’s the time of the year where we send our notes of appreciation to those who have supported us.  Before we let this stamp set go, here is one more very quick project.  After I stamped the flower with Rose Red, I used a sponge dauber to rub the Pretty in Pink to give it a bit more colour.  After spraying the smooch spritz, it added a shiny affect as well as the slight bleeding of the ink made the flowers look more full and even a little dreamy.

Stamp Set: Because I Care

Ink Pads: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Punch: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border

Other: Always Artichoke Marker, Sponge Dauber, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz

Bold & Elegant

It’s a little tricky with the Smooch Spritz but this is how it turned out.  A different style from my usual creations.

A Simple Thank Ewe

I am just on a roll today.  I managed to make 2 cards today, both inspired by sketch challenge on Just Add In (JAI52).  This is the first one and thought I’d change the style up a bit for something more cute.  The sheep is stamped on vellum and rubbed with a stylus to make it look “wooly”.  It’s also one of the techniques used in a technique class.

Stamp Set: Pun Fun

Ink Pads: Basic Black, Old Olive

Stampin’ Write Marker: Real Red

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Vellum, misc. DSP

Punch: Designer Label, Extra-Large Oval, 3/16″ Small Corner

Other:  Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 1/4″ Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Empressor Stylus

SR48: Colour Challenge ~ a Goddess Pick

I won another challenge with this card!  Yippee!!  Glad you all liked it!!! See other winners of this challenge here.

My first  with the Bigz Lattice Die. It went well with the Colour Challenge on Stampin’ Royalty with Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, and River Rock.  The lighting makes the card brighter than it is but the close-ups should show the softening of colour on the lattice.  Love this lattice!

Stamp Set: Because I Care, Vintage Vogue

Ink Pads: Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, River Rock, Crumb Cake

Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, River Rock, Very Vanilla

Other: Bigz Lattice Die, 5/8″ Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon, Square Rhinestone Brad, Sponge Dauber

******** Oh my goodness!!! My entry is a Goddess pick at Stampin’ Royalty’s challenge!  Check out my badge at the top!  My first winning entry!  So ecstatic!!! *******

I am really starting to get hooked on these challenges.  The theme is different every week so I get an idea for layouts, colors, themes and scads of inspiration from other challenge entries.  What do you think of this birdie card?  I’m thinking about doing a class of all my challenge cards.  Maybe we’ll get a vote going soon so you can all help me decide which ones to put in the class.
